As information technologies bring about profound changes in education environment, education informationization is becoming the inevitable trend of education reform and development. From the last century 90's, the United States, Britain, Japan, South Korea and many other countries presented, implementation and continuous updating the standards of the teacher's capacity of Educational Technology (referred as ET ), the teacher's ET capacity becomes the important part of teacher's professional competence development. December 2004, Ministry of Education issued the first standards for teacher's professional competence development in our country's history, that is primary and secondary school teachers Educational Technology Competency Standards (trial). This standard used to guide and promote the teacher's ET capacity developing. At present, with the new round of high school curriculum reform being implemented gradually, new system of curriculum, training methods and training objectives bring the unprecedented challenges to the traditional high school teaching. Teachers as the key strength in this curriculum reform, the level of their own ET capacity directly impact the implementation effect of this curriculum reform.To adapt to the new round of high school curriculum reform and create the best learning environment for students, teachers have to constantly improve their own ET capacity. But now, the way of training teachers' ET capacity focus on centralized training model, and when detached from the training environment, a lot of teachers ignored their own continuing ET capacity development in practice teaching and dissipated the self-development awareness. Capacity development is a step-by-step process which is slowly reflecting, accumulating, depositing and indirectly reflecting through the actual teaching effectiveness. Therefore, how to gradually improve teachers' ET capacity on working time is worthy of our further consider.On the basis of analysis and comparison the overseas and Chinese teachers' ET capacity development, combined with our country standards of teachers' ET capacity (trial) and the new round high school curriculum reform, through the way of case study method and choosing a high school Chinese teacher as an example, this thesis explored the self-development way of high school teachers improving theirs ET capacity, and provided the support for teachers to adapt to the new round high school curriculum reform and format the self-sustained development power in the process of teaching and working. This thesis consisted of 6 parts:The first part: Summary. Clarify the research background, research objectives and significance of this thesis, analysis the research status of current teachers' ET capacity development, and formulate the research process and methods of this thesis. The second part: Literature Review. On the basis of analysis education informationization requirements for teachers' professional competency, author elaborated the connotation, competency standards, as well as capacity development of teachers' ET capacity.The third part: Theoretical foundation. From the perspective of the professional development of teacher, author detailed the stage of development theory and adult learning theory, and analyzed the inspiration for teachers' ET capacity development.The fourth part: A case study of high school Chinese teacher's ET capacity development. On the basis of analyzing the case study method, case study of the reliability, validity and promotion, according to the case study objective, author formulated the case study plans. Through a semester of follow-up study, author got the research data of objective's ET capacity changes and development. On the basis of depth analysis the case study objective, author got the case study conclusion, that were influencing factors on high school Chinese teacher's ET capacity development.The fifth part: Explore the way of teacher's ET capacity development. On the basis of case study, author explored the way of teacher developing their own ET capacity.The sixth part: Follow-up Study. Discuss the remaining issues in this thesis.
