Rural Primary School Family Education With Self-concept Research

Self-consciousness in the regulation of children's mental health is important. The development of self-consciousness is directly related to children's health in the formation of personality,but also marks the level of development of children's personality,social development of children are an important aspect of self-consciousness is a subject to many variable factors,parental rearing patterns at all possible affected source is an important source of influence.The main purpose of this study,namely,rural primary school children in exploring the development of self-consciousness and its relationship with the characteristics of the relationship between parental rearing patterns.Grade difference and gender difference are both affect theself-concept development of ruralpupils of,pupils'self-concept growth downward trend with age, and sixth-grade students isat the level of development of self-concept;in primary schools of rural areas girls performbetter:reliance,fewer behavioral problems, thoughtful,caringparents,but emotional problems.Grade difference and gender difference are both effect the parental rearing pattern,the"Emotional warmth and understanding"positive dimension and the"Severely punished"negative dimensions show that;in rural areas there still exists son preference,the educatingof fathers is at the two extremes of doting and violence,mothers take care of girls more thanfathers,rural boys in parenting dimensions of the positive and negative dimensions are higherthan rural girls.Parental rearing pattern is an important factor which affect the self-concept development of rural pupils.Parental warmth and understanding proportional to the self-concept ofpupils,parents'refusetobedenied,excessiveprotection,severepunishment,inverselypro portional to the self-concept of pupils;parental warmth and understanding is very important andpositive,and mothers have more specialeffects.
