In the 21st century, modern education needs to be more humanized and humane. Especially with the further reform of new courses in China, more importance has been attached to the training of students'humanities, and teachers are required to be able to inculcate students with humanities. Thus, it is a significant task for teachers of Politics, which is a subject of humanities in high school, to encourage the full development of students, to pay attention to students'humanities literacy, and to carry on humanities education. In this paper, the focus is how teachers inculcate the sense of humanities and carry it out. Though education on class, students'humanities can attain some achievements and develop further.This paper mainly contains four parts. First of all, some definitions have been put forward which define the meaning of humanities and education on humanities and discuss the features and requirements of education on humanities. The second part is a discussion on necessity for teachers to strengthen the education on humanities. It is believed that it results from the final goal of education on Politics in high schools and is a key guarantee. With the current reform of new courses, the paper discusses the necessity for teachers to strengthen the education on humanities. Third, it shows the current situation of education on humanities from the perspective of high school teachers and the causes of existing problems.It analyzes the current situation of Politics teachers in high schools carrying on education on humanities. There are three major problems at present: lack of knowledge on humanities, unjust attitude towards humanities and inadaptability of the educational methods on humanities. Then it analyzes the causes of these problems, which involves the success-oriented influence of the society, the contradiction between the crucial results of Chinese university entrance examination and recessive character of education on humanities and inadequacy of teachers'knowledge on humanities. Finally, the paper presents some suggestions for teachers to strengthen the education on humanities. To start with, Politics teachers should improve their own knowledge on humanities. In addition, teachers should make every effort to strengthen education on humanities by educational experience. In terms of the teaching process, it discusses how to strengthen education on humanities in educational design, implementation procedures and reflection and rebuilding.
