| College Entrance Examination (shorted for CEE, thereafter) is one of the most important geographical examinations. Among the questions for different branches in geography, questions for Human Geography change in speed and are closely linked to the society. Through studying questions for Human Geography, we can find the changes of basic abilities for arts students, which CEE requires, as well as changes of the society. This thesis tries to review Human Geography questions in CEE in the past decade by means of text study. The proportion, test contents and the forms of Human Geography questions are changing and developing smoothly, which has a close connection with the changes of Geographical Education Standard in China, educational ideas and the development of the times. Meanwhile, this paper also tries to explore two practical topics: the features of Human Geography questions and how to set questions and answers. Based on the research, we have several conclusions. Firstly, according to the Geography Education Standard, the test description for new geography curriculum can be the guidance in setting Human Geography questions. Secondly, Human Geography questions under Geography Education Standard have no qualitative difference to it under the syllabus, focusing on the basic principles and fundamental ways of thinking of Human Geography. Thirdly, affected by the fairness and competition of CEE, when we set the questions, we should try to make a balance between the materials, questions and answers so that we could improve the efficiency of the materials. |
