Research-based studying courses and school-based curriculum in the program of the existing middle school are set forth in the new curriculum reform by the Ministry of Education, which emphasize the autonomy of student activity and self-experience, and the utilization of environment and resources, which complement with the traditional courses and play an extremely important role in our country basic education transforming the examination-oriented education to the quality-based education. At present, with a lack of relevant teaching skills and the simple teaching model, the study of research studying and research-based curriculum in China's ideological and political subjects at secondary school teaching practice is not enough.In this study, with the reference of the theoretical and practical achievement in the research-based program studying courses and school-based curriculum, with the first-hand material from the teaching practical activities in the Senior Middle School Attached to Shan Dong Normal University, the writer attempts to make an effective exploration on the application of the research-based program in China's ideological and political subjects at secondary school.In accordance with the nature and characteristics of the teaching content, several principles must be adhered to, namely, the principle of connection between theory and practice; the view of values united on knowledge, ability and emotional attitude; the combination of openness, flexibility, fun, and diversity; the integration between the local reality and the school characteristics; the combination of the teacher-guided studying and the research-based studying, the mind training of theory and the basic ability of scientific research; the principle of the teacher-student relationship of "consultants" and "companion".This much more emphasizes the students'practice and personal experiences, which makes the students gain the promotion of the ideology, the feelings of the will and the spirit realm. The ideas of curriculum design are to change the teacher-centered education concept; to build up a pattern guided by the idea of educational equality, student-centered, self-study, and teacher-instructed; to set up a manner of intercourse advocating the equality and respect between the teachers and the students; to establish the concept of the students'development, pay much attention to the students'personal and life experience and enable the students to form a scientific world outlook and methodology; to implement a teaching pattern based on the students'practical activities so as to help the students actively develop in the colorful and challenging activities, and focus on improving the overall quality of the students and enable them to have the main sense and self-learning ability, creative personality and creative thinking, spirit of cooperation and social interaction capabilities, with a wealth of knowledge, emotional health, the unique personality and good habits, as well as the new generation of high moral character.Implementation is divided into four stages. They respectively are the stage of the design, the stage of the information-gathering, the stage of the achievement exhibition and the stage of the evaluation and reflection. Taking our school-based curriculum titled the visit to time-honored brand for example, the writer analyzes the stages and procedures how to bring the research-based learning into effect. By interviewing and surveying the teachers and the students who participate in the school-oriented courses, we learn that the students have trained their co-operative spirit, improved their learning interest, that positive changes have taken place in the overall quality of students, and that the teachers have improved the professional dedication capacity and enhanced their comprehensive quality, and a harmonious relationship between teachers and students is formed.Any new teaching model or mode of study is required in the development and improvement of exploration. The main problems of current curriculum are that teachers and students lack inadequate understanding of this model, and that the teachers'knowledge remains to be updated.The implementation of research-based study in the school-based curriculum of high school has fundamentally changed the traditional teaching model, reflected the purpose of quality-oriented education, really established a dominant position of the students, provided students with an open learning environment to meet the needs of students to obtain first-hand experience and solve practical problems, and created a new state of the"politics-ideology"teaching.
