Traditional ethnic culture is the soul and symbol of a nation, it is even a major pillar of national spirit. It not only needs to be passed on, but also innovated. With the accelerated process of economic globalization and China's social life and cultural ecology in many areas changing, a number of ethnic traditional culture are facing an unprecedented and full impact by modern cultures, foreign cultures and market economy. Among young people the inheritance phenomenon is increasingly serious, the result is that some of the traditional cultures of ethnic minorities are facing an unprecedented crisis. The inheritance and protection of ethnic traditional culture have been put on the agenda. How schools should inherite the ethnic traditional culture effectively has become an important task for people. The basic function of education is inheritance and innovation ,school education is mainly responsible for the inheritance and innovation of ethnic minorities, it is a major way to ethnic cultural heritage. School education not only has a certain advantage, also has an unshirkable responsibility and obligation in the traditional ethnic cultural heritage. How schools should inherite ethnic traditional cultural has become an urgent problem.Therefore, this research regards Qingjiang middle school as the case study, on the basis of the cultural function of education. Based on documents and reference data, use of questionnaires, in-depth interviews and other methods, the research has analyzed the current situation and success factors of ethnic traditional culture inheritance systematically . The research has found the shortages and put forward the solutions. According to this, the research has given the rational thinking about how to strengthen the education and inheritance of ethnic traditional culture.This research is divided into six parts: the first part is about the origin of this study, the general research review, the definition of the core concept, theoretical foundation, meaning and value of the research, research methods and study steps. The second part is about the implementation current situation of traditional ethnic culture and the active influences to the students, teachers, school after the implementation. The third part has discussed the successful reasons of the Qingjiang middle school in inheritance of ethnic traditional culture. The fourth part has discussed the existing problems and corresponding solutions. The fifth part has put forward constructive views about inheriting ethnic traditional cultural effectively in schools. The last part has given my own thinking about the inheritance of ethnic traditional culture. Through the analysis about the above content it will be beneficial to inheritance of ethnic traditional culture in school and speed up the process of inheritance and protection. Nowadays with the ethnic traditional culture disappearing increasingly, some of the traditional cultures of ethnic minorities are facing a crisis of society, it is important to protect, promote, inherite ethnic culture and build a harmonious society, access to the sustainable development of people and society in theoretical meaning and practical value.
