Combination Of Research And Evaluation Of A Variety Of Media Learning Materials

In the Modern Open and Distance Education Support Service System (MODESSS), the students use multi-media learning materials to study by themselves. This has broken through the traditional mode of learning and has been used in modern teaching mode more and more.In this paper, I study the important role and status of the multi-media resources available in MDPESSS, investigate and analyze the current applied status, effect and problem of multi-media resources portfolio, in order to find evidence to improve and strengthen the construction of multi-media resources.In this study, I use literature research, survey research, experimental research and statistical analysis mostly to make a survey and experiment about the use of multi-media learning and teaching resources. The survey and experiment are aiming at college students, university students and teachers who have been participated in the open distance education in Beijing region since 1999.In the process of Open and Distance Education, teachers, students, learning resources and the media are the four elements. Learning resources and the media are hanging together naturally and played a key role in open and distance education. The construction and the use of multi-media resources directly impact on the success or failure of Open and Distance Education.The combination of the print category and the computer networks multimedia learning materials is the general trend of the development of the portfolio mode of the open and distance education portfolio of multi-media learning materials. The main teaching materials will change to case analysis and intensive with more coaching. Multimedia learning materials of the computer network will develop to a network course that is based on constructivist learning theory. Henceforth, to improve and standardize the building and the use of multi-media resources are the most important task in modern distance education.
