English as a foreign language (EFL) learners' writing skill is a long-term development process. Developing the students' basic writing skills is one of junior middle school's English teaching objectives. However, the teaching of English writing skills lags behind relatively in junior middle school. The students feel awkward when writing English. Also, the teachers think that it is hard and time-consuming to mark the students' compositions. This question is puzzling lots of teachers of English. Along with society's development, more and more new technologies are utilized in the field of education. The Blog as a study tool is also used by many teachers, but there is little research on teaching junior English writing. The study emphasizes the application of the Blog to the teaching of junior English writing. The literature methodology concludes that the Blog in education has strengths and insufficiencies; and discovered by using a procedure of questionnaire surveys and interview research: The teaching of writing in a Blog environment has the positive role of stimulating students' interest in writing, improving students' writing level and promote students' cooperative consciousness. We can use the case methodology and the narrative methodology separately to enumerate the steps and the methods in the Blog environment of English writing teaching in junior middle school. This paper has provided the effective teaching reference for a junior middle school teacher of English by using the Blog to support the teaching of English writing. The research proved that it is effective to apply Blog to teach English writing (EFL) in junior middle school. The teacher's teaching ideas have been renewed, the teaching methods have been transformed and the teacher career development has been promoted, as well as the students' study methods have also been changed. The personalized study, the interactive study and the cooperative study can be developped. However, regarding the Blog for the teaching evaluation and the studying appraisal awaits further research and also on the teaching of cross-school and cross-grade Blog writing.
