The dramatic social changes bring unparalleled impact on the healthy growing of primary and high school students, which projects the ever increasing importance of mental health education. Unfortunately, we find uneven professional quality of mental health educators and unsatisfactory training effects performed by mental health educators. We are urgently in need of scientific and effective training to promote sound development of mental health education. This study, from two perspectives of rational thinking and practical discussion, aims to supply reference on mental health education and training system for mental health education suppliers. This study is based on research of a large quantity of relevant literature and data, reflection of two terms of mental health educator training held by our school, and gives full consideration of professional features of mental health educators and practical conditions of mental health education. We give emphasis on research of the three major parts of mental health training system namely curriculum, method and evaluation and have designed a scientific, practical and visionary training curriculum. Moreover, we use Kirkpatrick's four-level evaluation model for training effects to give an all-round evaluation design of the training status, process, and effects of mental health educators by 4 levels of reaction, learning, behavior and result.
