At present, reformation of basic education curriculum is processing strongly. As an important part of which, the difficulty and extent of history curriculum reformation in senior high school is unprecedented. The variety of history textbook content system has demonstrated it directly. Firstly, the history textbook adopts a new form combing Chinese and foreign history and uses special subjects to arrange the content system, which becomes a new feature of the new curriculum history textbook in senior high school. Secondly, four editions of history textbook of senior high school published by People Education Press, People Press, Yuelu College and Daxiang Press have been used at the same time, which makes the writing and usage of history textbook of the senior high school in our country diverse for the very first time. Finally, there are many commons and differences in the four history textbooks written according to same curriculum standard. All of these provide research space for this thesis.This thesis commences from the new curriculum principle, combine the changing of curriculum view, teaching material view and studying view, thoroughly analyze the necessity and urgency of carrying on the history curriculum teaching material reformation. And then, based on the history textbooks which are familiar to the teachers and the students, I will make use of history investigation, comparison research, comprehensive evaluation methods to analyze the changing process of senior high school textbook in our country systematically and rationally. And I will make research on the commons and differences of the four textbooks. Based on it, the author thinks about the shortages of new textbooks, and try to find some strategies to improvement. I wish these could be beneficial to the compilation in history textbook of the senior high school.This thesis totally includes five chapters:The first chapter is the introduction, including the research object, research methods, academic review and study meaning and creative place.In the second chapter, the author analyzes the reason of changes in history textbook contents system from the new curriculum principle. And then, the author analyzes the background of history teaching material reformation in three aspects: the progress of society, the variety of history education value, the development of history academics.The third chapter mainly discusses the feature of history textbooks from three aspects: the whole frame, contents comparison and writing feature to analyze the commons of four textbooks.The forth chapter mainly analyzes the differences of four edition textbooks from three aspects, such as the degree of according to the history curriculum criteria, the concrete contents, arrangement of movement lesson.In the fifth chapter, the author discusses current shortage of contents system and tries to provide strategies, such as required textbooks should adopt the form of combing Chinese and Foreign history to emphasize the feeling of age; selected textbooks should adopt the form of special subject to express the diversification of history education in senior high school, also should draw lessons from the introduction of American history textbook to create a better teaching material condition to change students'study ways. History textbooks'writing should advocate observing history from different angles. I wish the thesis could have a function to the improvement of history textbook in the future.
