This paper discussed the problems with personal trainers in part of the gyms in the city of Beijing as the research objects. Documentation method,questionnaire method, investigation method and methe matical statistics method have been used in this paper. I do some investigation and analysis on current situation of basic abilities and actualities of some fitness personal trainers in Beijing. The Main purpose is to understand the current development situation and the actuality and what should they have in there actuality, to offer consultation for the management of fitness personal trainers, training and cultivating the students in Sports Universities and Colleges.The results show that:1. The personal trainers in part of Beijing gyms take the most percentage of young men, their working time is not long. 1/3 of them graduate from sports universities and colleges, most part of them do not have the experience of the competation. Their participatations in body-building exercise concentrate on 5 years. Their monthly incomes are concentrated among 2001-6000RMB; their knowledge level and ability in current situation are no optimisim.2. In every index of knowledge, the most important one for personal trainers is the specification knowledge. But the professional knowledge and professional specification knowledge are not very good, relevant knowledge and auxiliary knowledge are demanded to strengthen urgently.3. To personal trainer, the most important ability is the action ability, and it is the adaptive capacity to grasp the best one. Building up body ability and turning on sport prescription ability etc. are demanded urgently to strengthen.4. In every index of morality, the most important one and appraised the best one is the professional ethics.5. In every index of the body and mind, psychological quality is the most important. It is physique for teaching and appraised the best one.but the psychology and image are needed strengthening.6. In other indexes, experience is the most important for obtaining employment. But the teaching and fitness exercising experience are deficient to some extent, academic level and professional actuality is better.7. The skill guiding type talents needs best at present in the gymnasium. Most administrators think, the talents which the sports universities and colleges have trained could not meet the demands of them.8. Combining the personal trainers'training organization, the normanation of building up in the market, solving the problem urgently are the problems which are set in front of the administrative department of sports. It is common understandings of various fields that the market of personnal trainers are not standard, high-quality coaches are deficient.Propose the following suggestions:1. The personal trainers of Beijing need to strengthen professional specification knowledge, study professional knowledge especially, and pay attention to the grasp of relevant knowledge and auxiliary knowledge at the same time.2. The personal trainers of Beijing should strengthen, build up body ability of instruction, turn on sport prescription ability, physical stamina assessment ability, first aid cultivation of ability, pay attention to and improve the learning ability and innovation ability.3. Sports universities and colleges should adjust train objective and courses offered in time, in order to meet the social requirements for sports talent.4. Regarding personal trainers as the vocational education for the universities, introducing to the institution of higher learning of high sports, implementing both the academic diploma and job credentials as "one pair of cards is made ".5. Set up systems to build up personal trainer training, evaluate system norm, improve and issue the private coach's assessment criteria as soon as possible.6. Establish the special employer's organization, strengthen supervision and inspection of the personal trainer's team, launch teaching to exchange the experience and skill appraisal activity, make individuals build up body and move towards the track of scientific, standardized and sustainable development progressively.
