With the development of economy, people’s way of life has changed. People not only meet the demand of basic necessities of life, but also the pursuit of a higher quality of life."Buying health" concept has been accepted, people choose commercial fitness clubs to do more scientific, professional sports. The choice of personal trainer becomes a more scientific and professional way of fitness. In commercial fitness club, the level of personal trainer service can reflect the theory of business and service quality. Personal trainer service quality has become the key to improve the service quality of commercial fitness clubs.In this study, the object of research is the private coach service quality of Beijing commercial fitness clubs. The research was carried out by using documentary analysis, questionnaire survey, interview and mathematical statistics. The questionnaire is based on the SERVQUAL model. According to the results, the personal trainer members in the survey are between18to40years of age and higher income levels, largely participate the personal trainer classes two or three times a week.89%members’primary purposes of personal trainer course are losing fat, shaping, improving health. Five dimensions of service quality and the overall service quality has a high level of correlation; Members expects the reliability dimension most but give the minimum scores. Empathy scores are the highest, but members expect least. In addition, different gender, age, occupation, income, frequency of personal trainer classes to the overall service quality has no significant difference. But the fare of every personal trainer class has significant difference. Personal trainer members expectation, perceived service quality, monthly fees paid can explain satisfaction well; the satisfaction is mainly influenced by the perceived service quality. Personal trainer members’ satisfactions affect the renewals of course.The main problems of personal trainer service quality are in the following:one is personal trainer does not fully understand the personal trainer members’experience requirements. Two is the service ability of personal trainer should be improved. Three is the personal trainer courses bring inconspicuous effects; Four is few types of personal trainer classes; Five is the low perceived value of personal trainer members.In order to improve the personal trainer service quality of commercial fitness clubs in Beijing, this study proposes a few suggestions:establishing a management system of personal trainer service quality; guide the expectations of personal trainer members correctly; provide different personal trainer classes; strengthen the relevant research of service quality and fitness clubs performance.
