Zhanhua County Teachers' Continuing Education Survey And Countermeasures

The continuing education for elementary and middle school teachers refers to the training aimed to enhance the moral and professional quality of those teachers who have achieved teachers'qualification. Carrying out the continuing education is an important means to promote quality education and improve the overall quality of the teachers, which has a profound effect on our education. However, there are still many problem remaining to be settled. As a result, it is necessary to strengthen the continuing education research for elementary and middle school teachers.This research selects the Zhanhua County elementary and middle school teachers as the subject. First, analyze the teachers as a whole. Then, look into the current condition of their continuing education by means of questionnaire, interview and looking through papers. The research involves the teachers'view, curriculum, the mode of continuing education, trainee, agency and training fee, etc. After these investigations, the text put forward the strategies and suggestions to promote the continuing education for Zhanhua County elementary and middle school teachers: We must renew our education view, deepen our understanding of continuing education and establish multiple continuing education mode. The education must relate the teachers'reality closely, we should carry out the training accordingly in order to improve the effectiveness. Also we should combine our resources to set up a multifunctional training center. We should set up a scientific estimate system to promote our teachers'continuing development.The research results can offer new ideas and strategies for local government and training centre to further strengthen the continuing education for elementary and middle school teachers.
