Full implementation of quality education, must have sufficient and a number of high-quality teachers, and teachers’continuing education is to strengthen the construction of teachers and improve the quality of teachers, a powerful driving force to promote educational reform and development, but also to promote the professional development of teachers and effective path. This paper selects the national poverty counties Xichou for the study, through literature analysis, field visits, questionnaires, interviews and other research methods, get a lot of empirical data the county junior high school teachers’continuing education, teacher professional development theory, theory of learning organization lifelong education theory based on a comprehensive, detailed description of the Xichou junior high school teachers’continuing education in the problems, and analyze the reasons for the formation of the problem, which is proposed to improve the Xichou junior high school teachers’continuing education practices, improve the effectiveness of continuing education of targeted recommendations.This paper consists of six parts content:The first part describes the background and significance of the topic; the second part defines the concept of teachers’continuing education, describes the teachers’professional development theory, theory of learning organization and lifelong education theory, review the research status of teachers continuing education; third part introduces the development situation Xichou teachers’ continuing education, which is part of the County Board of Education based on the author visit Xichou collect material, with the help of teacher training Office management officer, obtain a large number of empirical information relevant to this study, through the analysis of these data collation, binding to the text presented in tabular form Xichou Teachers’Continuing Education before; the fourth, an objective description of the Xichou junior high school teacher the case of continuing education, including basic content is subject of the investigation, the teachers’continuing education content, the attitude of continuing education, and other aspects of demand; The fifth part summarizes Xichou junior high school teachers’continuing education problems and analyze their reason; Part VI, presents specific recommendations to address Xichou junior high school teachers’continuing education problems.The study found that, Xichou County Junior High School Teachers’continuing education are the main problems:lack of practical training content, does not match with the actual needs ofteachers; the shortage of training funds, sharp contradiction; school-based training form, the effect is not ideal. According to the existing problems and puts forward some corresponding suggestions:strengthening the effectiveness of continuing education, to meet the needs of teachers; to establish effective continuing education funding allocation mechanism;optimization of continuing education environment, improve the enthusiasm to participate in continuing education of teachers; strengthen school-based training to carry out strength,promote the professional development of teachers.
