On The Training Of Language Sense In The Teaching Of Chinese In Middle School

Half a century ago, the training of sense of language in Chinese teaching had been advocated by Mr. Xia Mianzun and Mr. Ye Shengtao, two great eminent Chinese educators. Some scholars, experts and teachers of Chinese have also long applied themselves to this field, which has now been increasingly concerned and the focus of Chinese teaching theory and practice. Here this paper deals with the subject on sense of language in Chinese teaching from seven aspects, aiming at the problems in Chinese teaching of senior middle school.1. Of sense of language cultivating which is imperative under the situation. 2. Of the sense of language cultivating in China.3. The definition of sense of language. The notion has been produced on several representative statements.4.The characteristic of sense of language of language. It includes: alacrity, intuition, integration, imagination, experience and nondeterministic. 5. Of the position of sense of language in Chinese teaching. It plays a basal and leading role in the structure of Chinese competence. 6.Of the bases for the subject of sense of language cultivating. The bases are all on the characteristics of the Chinese language, the laws of Chinese teaching and the stipulations of the State Bureau of Education, which shall be implemented. 7.Of the ways of sense of language cultivating . Sense of language is a kind of competence, which can be cultivated in the course of listening, reading, writing and imagination. The ways of sense of language cultivating in the following have resulted from the practice and thoughts in my teaching work, which have proved that the ways of sense of language cultivating, easily operated and gradable, are popular with students though easier said than done, and that sense of language cultivating is always an ageless subject in Chinese teaching。...
