In actual teaching practice, the emotional factors are omitted willingly or unwillingly by some teachers to a degree under some circumstances during their teaching processes. As a result, their teaching becomes tedious and boring without energy. It brings an inevitable disastrous effect to their students. Therefore, the emotional factors should be emphasized and it should be covered as an important part of the teaching innovation. Through the thesis, combined with the innovation of basic teaching curriculum, the writer tries to search the function of the emotional factors from the fine arts appreciation teaching process according to the modern teaching theory: to make a point of cultivating both the students'emotional attitude and their spirit of ingenuity. It will react a lot to promote the fine arts appreciation teaching. The thesis covers the issued background and significance towards the lemma, and it introduces what the emotional factors are and how they work in teaching in detail. It is presented from 8 aspects. All those come from actual fine arts appreciation teaching practice in high school, and the method of experience summarizing is used. 1."4-stages"way is proceeded to help the students dig out the emotional factors and complete their appreciation of common works. 2. Choose proper teaching method while setting an aesthetic mentality for the students. 3. The function of the emotional factors should be made a point of as well as the innovative thinking of the students. 4. Make sure the key beauty point is got by the students and let them be moved. 5. The students should be aroused by good questions which are carefully prepared previously by the teacher. 6. Teaching atmosphere is set and a emotional bridge is built. 7. Appreciation should be combined by operation simultaneously to saturate the yearning from your students. 8. Comprehensive subjects are mixed with abstract arts, like music. It already has been testified by actual teaching design. The emotional factors will mobilize the organs of the students from all aspects if put into the teaching of fine arts appreciation. On the other hand, it will arouse the students'interests, activeness, creativity, as well as other important qualities.
