The teaching of Luxun's works plays an important role in Chinese education of middle school. But actually, the phenomenon of estranging or even rejecting Luxun generally exists among students, and many teachers also have been afraid of difficulty on teaching Luxun's works. Based on above problems, this paper combines contemporary research achievements on Luxun with teaching practice, and discusses how to teach Luxun's works at the initial stage when students trend to him. Four parts are divided as follows: the first part, by the way of questionnaire, illustrates the important status of Luxun's works in Chinese education of middle school and the problems encountered in the current teaching practice of Luxun's works. The second part ,dedicatedly analyzes why students alienated Luxun. The third part, focuses on the practical significance of studying Luxun under the new culture background in the new historical period. The fourth part ,probes into the detailed and operable measures to lead students to read and approach Luxun, such as coming near warmhearted Luxun, integrating information technology with Luxun's works, diverse teaching activities outside and so on.
