The social stratum structure is the main expression of the rule of order, which all kind of societies must copy with. Including how the superior class keep their advantage position and successfully meet the challenge and threat from the elites of the inferior class; also how the bottom class to achieve upward mobility and improve their socio-economic status. In the opening modern society, education play an important role in this process. In the view of social stratification, education as the consumption of resource and a process of self-growth force is a resource as well as other mechanisms for the distribution of social resource. This dual nature is bound to lead the intense competition in the distribution of education.With the development of China, social structure has under drastic change, the social stratum differentiation has been more and more obvious. Class background become an important factor in the opportunities of higher education, the offsprings of dominant occupational estate who have more cultural capital,social capital and economical capital have more opportunities and distribute in the point school and discipline. When the fair of education is the basic ethical demand of our education policy, when the principle of equal opportunities in education means that any natural,economical or cultural aspects of the lower status should be compensated, it is necessary that through theoretical study and the system design, we can promote equitable development of higher education and play its great role of promoting social justice.
