By defining and explaining the reasons, the research, through interviewing, explores 300 children's cognition about some concepts related to daily health behaviour, such as sanitation, washing hands, brushing teeth, bathing, sleeping, exercising, resting, cleaning up, punctuality and posture. Those children are as diverse as 45 to 80 months old.By generalizing, coding and analyzing of the interview results, the researcher finds that children always define concepts related to daily health behaviour through nine forms: unknown, incorrect cognition, using original words to make sentences, describing situations, describing results, using concrete examples to illustrate, intuitive features, important attribute, and pragmatic functions. These forms belong to three levels. Level one means children don't understand concepts, including unknow, incorrect cognition, using original words to make sentences; level two means children master concepts by concrete examples, situations and features which can be apperceived directly; including describing situations, describing results, using concrete examples to illustrate, and intuitive features; level three means children can master concepts by objects' inherent attribute and relations between people and objects, including important attribute and pragmatic functions.Research finds that using concrete examples to illustrate, describing situations and pragmatic functions are children's main defining forms when they define concepts related to daily health behaviour. Children proportionments of these three forms are 18.50%, 18.43% and 16.57%. As to defining level, 24.30% of 300 children belong to level one, 46.70% of them belong to level two and 29.00% of them belong to level three. Further more, the researcher make statistical analysis by SPSS and respectively reveals the general features of the children's cognition of concepts related to daily health behaviour, age feature, gender feature and feature of the kindergartens. Research finds that, there are no significant difference of age feature between "bathing" and "resting", and very significant difference among other eight concepts. As to "punctuality", there is significant difference of gender feature, boys' cognitive ability are better than girls. As to other nine concepts, there's no significant difference between boys and girls. There are very significant difference between two kindergartens, define ability of kindergarten A's children is better than that of kindergarten B's children. In the research, children explain reasons by following seven forms: no explaining, incorrect explaining, explaining by describing method or request, explaining by describing functions, explaining by describing disserve, explaining by describing functions and disserve, explaining by direct reason. Explaining by describing disserve is main form, among the kids been tested, 49.43% of them explain reasons by describing disserve. On this basis, the researcher generalizes the aforesaid features and reaches a conclusion that the children's cognition of concepts related to daily health behaviour is affected by the development level of their thoughts, their life experience, concepts' characteristic and the education children received. Then the researcher makes some suggestions on s daily health behaviour education for preschool children. At last, the researcher reflects on this study and puts forward some points that need further improvement.
