Preschool Children at the ages of 4-7, whose paintings are developing into the special period of children' drawings — stage of the schema. At this stage ,children get to form a fixed scheme in representing a certain kind of object by exploring and practising, and like to use it time after time. The above phenomenon has been refered to in many books on children' art research ,However, most of which are involved in the form recurrence . The research shows an analysis of cause and significance on how to produce the recurrent phenomenon in drawing subject matters ,skills and themes, which is based on the exploration of literatures, questionnaires and product courses . In this thesis, the writer introduces the following notion: 1, Interest contributes to the choice of the recurrent subject matters during the stage; 2. Feelings of safety and self- affirmation lead to the use of familiar drawing skills; 3.Fixed aesthetics expectation formed in the course of socialization results in the appearance of recurrent theme. It is clear that the ability of Preschool chlidren in art is combined with the development of other abilities, and it reflects children'general developing situations both in mind and in body. Therefore, for some phenomena appearing in children drawing, teachers should research into the reasons not only from the development of body and mind but also from the environment rather than correct the menu.Meanwhile, the writer hopes that this research can enlarge visual angles and dimensionalities in analyzing and understanding works of art from children.
