Recently, with the new and deepening innovation of curriculum, there appears the restructure of Colleges of Further Study for Teachers in many districts, which puts more emphasis on the combination of teaching offices and offices for further study into whole teaching sources and also puts forward the concept of the unity of research and training for teachers. This research paper, through the case analysis of the Section of Mathematics of the Songjiang College of Further Study for Teachers, makes detailed analysis of the unity of research and training, analyzes its strategy in practice and shares its practical values.The paper can be divided into the five following parts:The first part, starting from the existing challenges of different sides, seeks for the method of unity of research and training, which is suitable for the teacher's professional development. Through the literature review, finds that the teacher's professional development cannot achieve lacking the participation of training organizations, whose main focus should be based on the friendly cooperation with schools and students. At the same time, this paper also illustrates the necessity, practical and epoch values and the theoretical basis of unity of research and training.The second part, through the analysis of several concepts involved in the unity of research and training and according to the theoretical evidence of the unity of research and training, the paper points out that the system of "teaching-research-r professional development" based on schools, characterized by the cooperation among different levels is the main working method of Colleges of Further Study with the aim for the innovation of curriculum and specializes knowledge.The third part puts more emphasis on the structural innovation of Colleges for Further Study and the innovation of training modes. The practice of unity of research and training possesses three-stage netting work for research and training, which provides a platform for the specialized development of every teacher; establishes the "school-based, cooperative, excellence-leading and continuous promoting" mechanism; puts research into practice, with the method of question-leading and class-focus in order to improve teachers' thinking ability; makes full use of the leading role of specialized development to establish research groups with high-spirited team work of the teachers.The forth part, on the basis of the case study of the Mathematics Research Office in Songjiang College of Further Study for Teachers, illustrates again the active role of unity of research and training in the teacher's professional development.The last part reanalyzes the method of unity of research and training, which focus on class and is based on gradual and continuous practice and thinking, with the key point of specialized development for teachers as the relevant training in the process of teaching.
