With the development of knowledge economy and information technology, and quality-oriented education concerning school's characteristic and students' personality and creativity, teaching method choice and adoption has been the focus generally concerned by researchers and practitioners in education at home and abroad. As a result, when teachers encounter many new or old problems arising in the elementary education curriculum reform, it has become an urgent demand in the teaching practice for the teachers to choose and adopt school-based teaching methods.The school-based teaching method choice and adoption emphasize that teachers should choose and adopt teaching methods under the direction of school-based curriculum implement ,and according to students' study needs; the nature of particular disciplines and the content of various textbooks; teachers' personality; schools' resources and community environment. It includes the choice and adoption of teaching methods which are theoretical provided by professors and practical explored by the teachers themselves. It features as its realistic situation and teachers initiative development. Moreover, Educators lay a basis for the teachers to choose and adopt teaching methods.Meanwhile, it is necessary to undertake the preliminary practical exploration for the teaching method choice and adopt in the school-based curriculum implementation in the aspect of students, teachers, disciplines, situations and schools which are concerned by school-based curriculum implementation, therefore it can provide some reference for the teacher's teaching practice.
