In essentially, the practice of kindergarten-based curriculum requires an atmosphere of democracy and rights-sharing in the kindergarten, however, many of our kindergartens' traditional management patterns has failed to adapt the characteristic of flexibility and multiplicity of it. And, the idea of the curriculum leadership exactly offers a reference of the practice of it.This study is based on the aspect of the kindergarten' curriculum leadership. According to a survey of questionnaires, interviews and a collecting of materials, I made an investigation about the actuality of the curriculum leadership of the head of a kindergarten and the teachers. And then, there is an analysis on the results of this study.It has been showed that currently, there are many problems. First, the organizational structure and culture of kindergarten are disadvantageous to the realization of kindergarten-based curriculum. The traditional management patterns and the management system neglected the service function of the teachers who in fact act as a main body during the class and should participate the curriculum decision-making. Second, the head of a kindergarten can not function very well nor make effective specialized instruction because their curriculum consciousness is weak. Third, the teachers lack of a specialized accomplishment, an exact role localization and independence in the major. And this make them hardly have an ability to make curriculum strategy and have a sense of it. It's no accident that many of them even drift away from it. In a word, the improvement of the curriculum leadership of the head of a kindergarten and teachers demands a construction of professional learning community, a cooperative, participated, opening kindergarten culture as well as a common curriculum vision.
