From the history of the development of urbanization in the international , urbanization is the average rule in the world,which is the basic trend of the world economy and social development in nowadays and the important symbol of modernization in economic structure.By the rising of the standard of agriculture productivity and quicken of the industrialization process ,the condition of urbanization become much more better in our country.Promoting urbanization energetically has already become strategic measure arising form domesty economy and social development in a long period . There are a lot of surplus rural laborers need to transfer in our country .The key point of urbanization process is country urbanization..Therefore the best way is developing small town,which is deferent from developed countries.The government pay a great attention to develop small town and pick up the strategy of'small town, big strategy'.So our country will qicken the development of small town ,but the pattern of its development will have a little bit change. With Form the reform open up deeply, with the flourish development township enterprise, our small town develop quickly .the number is more and more ,while the quality is not good.Many problems come out for example land reducing ,serious environmental pollution and so on .Especially the small town scale is too small,which has influenced on sustainable development of the small town. Therefore we must research how reinforce the population and economics centralize. This thesis consists of six chapters. As follows: In the first part, namely Chapter One, the author gives a reason that he studies the problem of population and sustainable development of the small town.
