| Have a remarkable difference on earth when boys and girls study mathematics? What influence has sex factor to mathematics? Because mathematics is important to entering a higher school and quality-oriented education, these questions receive the concerns of the social different fields, especially teachers and parents. It has already become the research urgently to be solved of psychology. This paper regards mathematics achievement of students in The Eighth Middle School in Dalian as samples, adopt the many kinds statistics analytical methods, gets some following conclusions: (1) Boys and girls' mathematics achievement of every grade obeys normal distribution, and population means are different. There are connections in sex and mathematics studying. (2)The difference of the achievement does not have a crescent trend when the grades are rising up . In order to look for the reasons that the difference of boys and girls' studying in mathematics, this paper carries on questionnaire investigation, case analyzing and some pointed interview. Find psychological quality, personality and mode of thinking, know way of writing, perceive ability of boys and girls are heavy different. Finally, there are two respects to help girls to learn mathematics well, they are improving the teaching level and teaching quality from teacher oneself constantly, and teaching students in accordance with their aptitude. It is helpful for teachers' teaching. |
