The conception of mathematics is a key link in mathematics education. In a way,we can say that the history of mathematics development is the history of guidance of the conception of mathematics. And we can also say that the conception of mathematics has more effects on mathematics development than other factors, so it is very important As society develops and reforms in mathematics curriculum are carned out, people change their overall views on mathematics from static conception of mathematics to dynamic conception of mathematics. To mathematics education, people stress the essential reforms in the conception of mathematics, that is to say, the conception of mathematics changes from static and absolute to dynamic,empirical and imitatively empirical.By making a survey of teachers' and students' conception of mathematics in middle schools, I find that fake conception of mathematics leads to students' false attitude towards mathematics and action in learning mathematics, which influence mathematics teaching and learning. Present reforms in mathematics curriculum strongly need to be guided by the conception of mathematics while they also cause teachers and students in middle schools to change their conception in mathematics. Mathematics teachers must pay special attention to forming correct conception of mathematics, do further research on the problems on mathematics essential philosophy to choose the correct conception of mathematics, and study how to make good use of correct conception of mathematics in leaching mathematics to help students to have connect conception of mathematics.
