Innovation education is a kind of educational practice oriented by cultivating a student's creativity mind and ability. In mathematical innovation education, the teaching of conception and methods goes hand in hand with the cultivating of one's creativity ability which is the thinking crystallization driven by the creativity mind after accumulating and developing knowledge and conception of mathematics. It's a dynamic process of mutual infiltrating, influencing and integrating in continuously using and developing. In mathematics, knowledge is the basic source of creativity ability and conception and methods its soul. The mastering and using of the conception and methods in mathematics can arouse students' sense of being creative. Only through successfully experiencing the course of discovering, creating and truly comprehending the conception and methods in mathematics, can the students' creativity ability in mathematics be promoted, which will then distillate the conception and methods in mathematics.This kind of teaching is of great importance both in function and values in mathematics innovation education in middle schools: it fully embodies the cultural function in mathematics; it enables the students to discover, appreciate and create beauty, helps them optimize their personality and quality, complete their mathematics cognitive structure and enhance their mathematics accomplishment. The basic principles this kind of teaching should follow are: a. infiltrating timely and properly; b.teaching hierarchically according to the students' learning demands; c. aiming wholly and clearly; d. organizing systematically with the method of elicitation and construction; e. emphasizing both the process and practice .Besides the above teaching principles, in order to make full use of the function and the value of this kind of teaching in innovation education, the following strategies should be adopted: acquiring, under the guidance of new curriculum reform notion, modern education viewpoint to enhance the understanding of this kind of teaching to cultivate the students creativity ability; creating democratic and equal class atmosphere; teaching, guiding and promoting accordingly; infiltrating mathematics conception and methods actively and enhancing the students' creativity ability;, reinforcing this kind of teaching by tapping the process of its formation and development and designing teaching procedures elaborately; deepening its teaching in "problem solving "and strengthening the guidance on students' learning approaches; carrying out cooperative and autonomous learning so as to cultivate students' creativity flexibly in the course of exploiting and communication. If we offer mathematics conception and methods as a special course to the students, it will be helpful to cultivate their creativity ability, form the mathematics idea gradually, enhance their mathematics quality and then enjoy themselves mathematics culture.
