Aesthetic education in the Language and Literature teaching is a long-lasting topic, which has been mentioned in the syllabus of Chinese Language and Literature teaching. The syllabus requires Chinese teachers to cultivate the aesthetic temperament and aesthetic ability during the course of teaching. For teachers, teaching Chinese is not only a progress of knowledge imparting, but also a progress of aesthetic education. Chinese teachers should bear in mind that teaching is an art and make efforts to convert teaching into an aesthetic improvement progress. That requires Chinese teachers to be relatively qualified with aesthetic accomplishment and be qualified with the ability to realize, appreciate, create and convey beauty. Otherwise, if a teacher could not dig out the beauty of the language while preparing lessons or convey the beauty during giving lessons, the aim of aesthetic education could not be reached. Thus could only dismember the text mechanically and spoil the beauty of the language and literature. So the aesthetic accomplishment is a necessary artistic self-possession.Giving a look to the present situation of Chinese teaching, we found that there are still many unsatisfactory aspects. For example, Chinese teachers often convert rich contained text into accurate rational analysis. During this course, teachers ignored not only the beauty of the text but also the fact that what we are facing is vigorous lives. Under the huge pressure of examination, classes are filled with plenty of exercises and Chinese lessons are changed to technical training lessons. Students are learning bitterly while teachers are teaching bitterly. How to give vitality to Chinese lessons? How to teach Chinese? Where is the solution to these problems? Chinese teachers have to think over about these questions. In order to get the present situation changed, traditional teaching module must be transformed to push Chinese education onto a way of art appreciation. The aesthetic accomplishment of Chinese teachers relates to the implement and effect of aesthetic education directly. As such, this thesis gives special light on the aesthetic accomplishment of teachers. This thesis firstly acknowledged achievements in recent Chinese teaching and then pointed out problems presented in the course teaching. This thesis took up the topic that Chinese teachers should be qualified with aesthetic accomplishment from the aspects of teaching language, aesthetic mental perception, aesthetic connoisseurship, aesthetic imagination and creation, teaching emotion, beauty interpretation ability and aesthetic education atmosphere promotion etc. Secondly, the thesis discussed the cultivation and improvement of Chinese teachers' aesthetic accomplishment from five aspects including improving language training, active aesthetic observation and contrast, increasing knowledge reserve, reading aesthetics works and enhance aesthetic accomplishment during teaching practice. The thesis at last further illustrated the presentation of aesthetic accomplishment of Chinese teachers in the teaching activity with several teaching cases.
