Study Of Secondary School Teaching Management Reform

Since Quality Education was carried out, the school curriculum reform and teaching reform are paid more and more attention. Some primary and high schools are also exploring teaching management positively to promote the reform of curriculum and teaching. However, the relations between teaching reform and teaching management reform are not given enough attention to in practice and are studied less in theory. And this has an effect on the process of teaching reform.Through a detailed analysis of focal and difficult points, the thesis tries to study the essence of teaching management and solve the problems in practice to promote the development of the theory and reform of teachingThe techniques involved in the thesis are documents, questionnaire and interviews.The thesis consists of five sections.The first section is to analyze teaching management in middle schools of our country and to describe the present situation of the teaching management. The results of investigation tell us that the teaching management is reforming continuously, the process of teaching management is emphasized, the teaching methods are improved and so on. But there exist some problems such as the lagging thought of teaching management, the lack of the mechanism of encouraging creative teaching management and so on.The second section is to introduce the present situation of teaching management of foreign high schools, especially in America. It is helpful for us to enforce teaching reform in our country.The third section is to discuss some problems of teaching reform in high schools of our country. The section gives clear definitions of teaching and teaching management and analyzes the relations between teaching and classroom teaching, between teaching and intellectual education, between teaching management and moral education and so on.The last section is to put forward some suggestions on teaching management reform, putting emphasis on the reform of the system of teaching management and internal teaching management of schools.
