The government always gives special attention to minority ethnic groups and their education. But the problem that students drop out of school creates its bad influence in the development of minority areas education.Even the government implement the measures “Two Exempt and one subsidy”, and “Nutrition meal program” has been covered in the western poverty-stricken areas universally.However, this problem is not effectively controlled. The students discontinue their studies more and more, and their age is younger and younger, some of them even pupils. This thesis chooses the ethnic YI and Miao’pupils as the research object to explore performance before they quite school in school, their family status, their ethnic customs and ethnic culture. The thesis also explores the key events or proximate of dropping out of school, whereabouts after dropping out of school, and the future development road.The thesis adopts Bronfen Brenner’s ecological systems theory as a support.Thinking that the environment interaction the ecological systems of students and their behavior of is a dynamic process. The dropout behavior of students happened long time ago and children’s psychological development is a special behavior during dynamic process. The thesis investigates the dynamic process of the occurrence of the behavior of children in school by the combination of time and environment. Standing on cultural view, using four systems of ecological systems analyzes the deep cause of ethnic-minority students’ dropout behavior by investigating, observing and interviewing deeply. And negative effects of dropout students bring to family and society. Appeal family, school and society to focus on the problem of pupil’s dropout.The author hope pupil’s dropout can be controlled as soon as possible, and more and more children can share the happiness and result of education.
