The 110 meter hurdle race is an asymmetric periodic movement project, the key is the combination and transformation of the cross and running. At this stage, hurdles project is an integral part of the competition, is the sports professional elective course students required athletics project, to enrich students’ motor skill plays a important role. This study chose functional force applied to the undergraduate elective course of hurdle teaching, by the training of core parts muscles stability strength, improve the large muscle groups and small muscles, superficial muscle and deep muscle and active muscle and accessory muscle and antagonistic muscle between the cooperation ability,improve the capability of multiple muscles integrated force. To improve the conversion between multiple joint stability, stable and unstable ability, improve the students’ ability to correctly complete the technical movement in motion. And select the drape functional strength training exercises, Swiss ball exercises, balance exercises, to improve student’s trunk muscle group,size of the leg muscles, back abdominal muscles and hip, knee and ankle joint muscle strength, flexibility and various parts of the coordination ability, so as to improve the students’ physical quality, hurdle technology and the hurdle score. The methods of literature data method, expert interview method, 2D fixed-point stereo camera method,mathematical statistics method, experimental method and so on to study students hurdle step technique and to improve teaching quality and enhance students hurdle technology and stimulate students’ interest in athletics to find new theoretical basis.The research conclusions are as follows:(1) after 12 weeks of intervention, the rate of students in the experimental group was better than that of the control group, while the strength and flexibility were not significantly different between the two groups compared with the control group.Functional strength training to improve students lumbar discal, thighs, pelvis and other parts of the muscle strength of transmission efficiency, the balance of body’s ability to control effect, can improve the speed of the students; while the control group students speed quality is improved, indicating that the traditional strengthtraining can also speed of students improve. And strength quality and flexibility and control group compared with no significant difference. The reason for this is because of the defects in complete volume in the training methods, training time and testing methods, resulting in student strength quality and flexibility quality has not improved significantly.(2) the functional power of 12 weeks of training,the experimental group of students from the cross angle, angle, distance, angle, trunk two thigh angle, swinging leg knee joint angle, landing distance, swinging leg angle, angle and pedal speed utilization rate(K1), cross run combining ability(K2), and the hurdle of three steps between the hurdles binding capacity(K3) are better than the control group, the technical indicators of the students in the experimental group than the control group of elite athletes are close to the ideal value, indicating that the experimental group students through functional strength training to improve students’ core coordination position with the joint the flexibility and control ability of students body movements, the ability of collaboration between the active muscles and accessory muscles,antagonistic muscles continue to improve, improve the innervation of muscle, the coordination between the action and more coordination, To promote the students to improve the ability of self control in the state of imbalance, so as to improve the students’ sports ability, so as to promote and enhance the level of hurdle technology.(3) after 12 weeks of intervention, the two groups of students the hurdle score and technical grades have improved, but the experimental group of students of the hurdle score and scores than the control group students are more significant, indicating functional strength training can improve students back and waist abdomen, size of the legs, trunk and other parts of the muscle coordination, combination ability and coordination ability, strengthens the student of hip, knee and ankle joint stability for the students run speed increase and hurdle technology to improve the creation foundation, to enable students to speed bar peace running speed is improved, and promote the hurdle score and hurdle technology assessment results has been improved.(4)functional strength intervention practice training methods and means of novel,can regulate the students of technical lesson learning interest, to students of thebalance control ability that the training effect, functional strength training make up the traditional strength exercises in steady state weight resistance practice learning, to overcome the elastic body exercises, overcome external environment resistance exercises to increase maximum power, strength, endurance and ignore the students balance and stability, functional strength exercises focus on from multi angles, the instability of the training, and constantly adjust their unstable state, achieve the improvement of muscle ability stability. At the same time,the core strength. Can greatly improve their muscle transfer efficiency, coordination ability and the stability of the joint, flexibility, enrich contents and methods of the compulsory hurdle technology courses.
