Argumentation, a style used for teaching, is written mainly by giving reasons for expressing views. Currently, it is also an important style for senior high school students writing. At present, only new material composition test is adopted as composition test in college entrance examination in which the students are required to express their views after watching and thinking about what the new materials shows. No doubt the students will give priority to argumentation in writing practice.Logical thinking is a kind of abstract thinking formed through conceptual thinking,reasoning and judgment,playing a very important role in argumentative writing.In this research, some practical strategies are summarized to train these middle school students’ logical thinking ability and provide guidance for improving their current argumentative writing ability on the basis of surveying the actuality of these students’ argumentative writing, some experts’ views and adopting the research methods like documents reading and survey analysis in terms of the specific roles of rational analysis including conceptual analysis mainly, proper judgment and effective inference in argumentative writing.Meanwhile,this paper puts forward some suggestions to address the current problems met in teaching senior high school students ’ argumentative writing.as well as to accept better suggestions. |
