Thirty years of reform and opening up, with the social transformation increased and the process of Urbanization accelerated, Left-behind Children has emerged gradually in a large population. Hereafter, the Left-behind Children has been paid close attention and extensive research. Especially after 2004, the problem of Left-behind Children has aroused wide public concern in academic circles, government circles and media circles. Through doing field study to W village of Hubei province, the author found that the Parents-excuse phenomenon in Left-behind Children is increasingly in rural communities because of social transition. Undoubtedly, the Parents-excuse Children arise more problems than the Single Left-behind Children in daily life because of the separation of primary families. However, there is not distinct clearly between the Parents-excuse Children and the Single Left-behind Children, but collectively called the Left-behind Children in the present study. The author think that the phenomenon producing some problems in rural communities that two or more than two Parents-excuse Children are given different family support is especially worthy of exploration and research.The research take a pair of siblings as a case and use participant observation and unstructured interviews to collect data. On this basis, the author found the case not only have universal characteristics but also face some new problems through combining organization and analysis to the data with existing related literature. These new problems are as follows: different personality traits, opposite behavior patterns and different cognition because of different environment and parenting styles, especially the integration of primary family member caused by long term separation. To this end, the author analyzed the necessity and feasibility of social work intervention from three levels of school, family and community combining with theoretical characteristics and practical skills of social work.
