Abstract/Summary:
Physics is one of the central subjects in natural science. As for a student from Xinjiang, it is key to improve their school marks by learning physics well. As for Xinjiang, it is very important to have educated students to develop the northwest of China. This paper is going to study the students of Xinjiang, who have been studying in the coast cities since high school and will be named as ’Nei Gao Ban’ or ’NGB’ for short in the following text, to help educators to get the general picture of the NGB students’ circumstances. It debates the effective ways to cultivate or stimulate the NGB students’ learning ability. It finds out the difficulties of learning physics for the NGB students and introduces the way to overcome these main factors. The study meets the initial idea of setting this kind of class.This paper is divided into two parts. The first part illustrates forming factors of the NGB students’ difficulties in learning physics. The second part of this paper compares the differences between the NGB students’ forming factors of learning physics in two dimensions. Firstly, compare the differences in learning physics between the NGB students and the Han students by analyzes language learning. Secondly, compare the students in NGB, MKM (hasn’t studied mandarin) and MKH (studied mandarin), by analyzing their difficulties forming factors. This paper also combines the bilingual education in our country and gives some suggestionsThe investigation of this study illustrates:(1) The NGB students have strong interest in learning physics, but they have weak self-identity. Their have pressure in studying physics, which leads to their learning difficulties. Compared to the students in the coast cities, their difficulties in learning physics are different.(2) Among the NGB students, the Han students have better foundation of physics than the minority students. But their learning attitude is weaker than the minority students. The forming factor of difficulties in learning physics between the Han students and the minority students are different. The factors of Han students are mainly from their attitude of learning and the minority students’ are mainly from the environment, the language and the learning method.(3) NGB students are divided into MKH and MKM. Their difficulties in learning physics are not the same as well. MKH students’foundation are better than the MKM students. MKM students are more interested in learning physics, compared to the MKH students. MKH students have less study barriers from the language than the MKM students. As for the part of the study attitude, MKM students appears apparently better than the MKH students. But the MKM students considers their endeavor is the main factor of difficulties in learning physics.
