Vocational education as an important part of education, is the foundation of a country and regional economic development, is the source of promoting its core competitiveness, the development must be attention of social various aspects. The influence of the development of vocational education in ethnic minority areas in promoting economic development in national regions, satisfying people’s material and cultural needs, promoting the fair distribution of education resources are more and more important. In this article, through the summary of the literature and research, using the empirical survey to collect data, it analyzes the current situation and existing problems of secondary vocational education in Guangxi Region, and combining with the present new situation of "innovation, public venture", to solve the employment problem of vocational education to provide certain reference.First of all, This paper defines the related concepts of vocational education and introduces the theory of vocational education in detail, i.e Forster’s vocational education theory, human capital theory, resource dependence theory. This lays the theoretical foundation for the research of this paper.Then, this paper analyzes the current situation which including basic situation and existing problems of secondary vocational education in Guangxi Region. The basic situation of secondary vocational education includes:the degree of fit of school type, students’ scale, teachers’ statistics, professional distribution, employment situation, the relationship between vocational education and economic structure. The existing problems includes Teaching quality is not high,:"student teacher ratio higher, weak teachers, social environment of vocational education bias, not prominent in Guangxi tourism and ethnic customs.Then, Aiming at the problems existing, it analysis of the reasons from government, vocational schools and students. The reasons of government include: insufficient of financial investment, lack of relevant policies, the decline in the number of training bases per capita; The reasons of vocational schools include: professional setting unreasonable, extensive management of students, lack of teachers and poor ability of employment service; The reasons of students include: lack of excellent professional skills, misunderstanding of ethnic identity.Finally, In view of the existing problems, this paper gives the corresponding countermeasures. For the government, increasing financial input reasonably, giving full play to the role of administrative supervision, striving to tackle poverty, guiding and rebuilding the social values. For the vocational school, setting of professional courses reasonably, paying attention to the training and promotion of teachers, enhancing the level of guidance of employment services, establishing of exchange system of exchange of teachers and students, increasing business support and guidance. For students, Enhancing the level of professional skills, strengthening the comprehensive practical ability.
