Research On The Problems And Countermeasures Of Citizen Education For College Students In China

The concept of citizenship and citizenship education originated from the ancient Greece, the western developed countries from their respective historical heritage and cultural background of the reality, the formation of the different characteristics of the theory of civic education. In our country, in the wake of the since the beginning of reform and opening up, accelerating the socialist political civilization, the 17 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, HuJintao, general secretary of the first "citizenship education" to write our Party Congress report, the concept of civic education is increasingly being of concern to the people, people’s life made great change. Working hard to cultivate the quality of GaoDaode needed for the development of the society, the requirements of the era of excellent citizens have become an important national strategic objectives. However, students as our knowledge reserve and moral qualities are relatively higher social groups, is part of national development essential personnel of the society, for the college students’ Citizen Education in our country exist problems and countermeasures research has important significance.The purpose of this paper is combined with the theoretical basis of civic education and the ideological and political education of College Students’ Citizen Education in our country existing problems and solutions in the research. The paper is divided into four parts: the first part is the introduction content, introduces the research goal and the research significance, the domestic and international research actuality, as well as the main research methods and innovation points. The second part introduces the citizen, citizen education and the connotation of citizen education in our country. The third part introduces the problems and causes of College Students’ Citizenship Education in our country. In the fourth part, in view of the problems existing in college students’ Citizen Education in our country put forward countermeasures. The paper mainly from the four aspects started clarify college students citizenship education idea, realize the unity of civic education to the college students of legal education and moral education, improve the effectiveness of the civic education of students.
