Literacy is the base of all kinds of learning, and it is very important to upgrade personal culture qualities, especially for junior students, it is related to the development of their intellectual potential, their innovation spirit and innovation ability. As the most fundamental and important content in Chinese teaching in primary school, it is always a subject that we need to study constantly.From the research present, although there are many current methods of Chinese teaching in primary school, but traditional teaching mode is still the main teaching method. The system of game is paid close attention to students, but there is indication that it’s in the starting phase for its less application, and judging from the results of learning, there are still many problems.Therefore, this paper focuses on the current problems of teaching literacy, selects a primary school as a research object, from the angle of game teaching, lists some suggestions and ideas on the application of games in the literacy teaching. This thesis is mainly divided into the following several parts, the first chapter mainly introduces the general framework about the reason of selected topic, research purpose and meaning, research methods, the core concepts and literature review,etc.. The second chapter is mainly an empirical study, through the preparation of questionnaires and in-depth classroom observations, interviews and test, analysis the game teaching status, and then draws corresponding conclusions. The third chapter from three perspectives combined with the actual teaching cases, and give systematically classifies in literacy games. The last part suggests the strategies to solve the problems.
