As the main part of the national basic education course plan, national curriculum reflect the will of a country. Influenced by planned economy, in the previous curriculum in our country, the national curriculum has a dominant position. However,from the perspective of curriculum development, the national curriculum is a process from top to bottom, and from the center to the periphery. So it’s hard to avoid that the curriculum is over-concentration, and the content is too much monotonous. In terms of students, there is a gap between the knowledge and the actual life, preventing them from understanding and mastering the knowledge better. For teachers, they are just implementers of the course, not a developer, so it’s hard for them to develop their professional skills. To region, it can cause a waste of resources and idle. At the beginning of this century, our country put the new curriculum reform into practice.And the reform includes six aspects such as:the goal, the content, the management of the curriculum.In the way of the curriculum management, the old curriculum is parted into three-level: the country, the region and the school. And thus provided the birth of the implement of school-based national curriculum.The first step of this research is to collect and conclude the literature that related to the implementation of school-based national curriculum. And combining the high school life science outstanding class example, trying to find the previous experience about the implementation of school-based curriculum. The result is that the current procedures of the implementation of school-based curriculum include: the school-based treatment of teaching goals, teaching contents, teaching methods and teaching evaluation. At present, the literature about implementation of school-based national curriculum for life science is almost blank. By means of browsing some outstanding example about life sciences, the writer found that some teachers has had the school-based implementation in the teaching goal, content, method and evaluation aspects. However, their treatments are not perfect and from the comprehensive perspective.On the other hand, the writer chose Chongming district in Shanghai to be the object of the investigation, surveying the current situation about the implementation of school-base national curriculum and trying to find out the obstacles. Through the analysis, it’s not difficult to find that the implementation of school-based national curriculum about life sciences is welcomed by teachers and students. And most teache-rs said that they have been implemented the school-based national curriculum, but due to the lack of relevant action demonstration and other factors, the process is very difficult.Thus, this thesis chooses the third chapter of junior high school of life science“health and disease” for example, trying to design a demonstration case of life science school-based curriculum implementation. According to the curriculum standard and the analysis of teaching material, establishing school-based processing points, and have the school-based national implementation on teaching target, teaching content,teaching methods and teaching evaluation.For the emotional target, combining the curriculum standard, increase the understanding of Chongming and the love for their township. For the teaching content,adding some Chongming examples that students are familiar with. Meanwhile, the school-based teaching method is to follow the principle of “combining real life”. And then, by creating contextualized personal assignments to complete the teaching evaluation aspects of school-based national curriculum implementation. Finally, this paper selected one period in the third chapter to have an empirical research. Through the appraisal of students after class, the teaching aim and the degree of emotional conditions are both good.This paper aims to find out the current status of high school life science school-based national curriculum implementation. And took the third chapter of life science “health and disease” for example, trying to design a demonstration case and life science school-based curriculum implementation in order to give other teachers some references and enlightenment.
