The research about Chinese Nouns “li” and “wai”is not uncommon,however, the study about “li” and “wai” combining with the subject of Teaching Chinese as Second Language is very rare. The students of Suwon Girls’ High School of Keara are objects of this study. Thesis focuses on probing teaching methods of the “li” and “wai”.This paper summarizes the teaching deficiencies of “li” and “wai” according to actual teaching experience in Suwon Girls’ High School,analyzing student learning characteristics and learning needs,in order to design teaching programs about “li” and “wai” for Suwon Girls’ High School of Keara.The Paper is divided into four chapters:The introduction is divided into three parts. The first part is the topic of significance and rationale. The second part is the research status, including ontological study and teaching study.The third part is the research methods. Comparative analysis, error analysis, statistics and other methods are used in this paper to sums up the difficulties in the process of student s’ learning and the using of “li” and “wai”. According to textbook, making teaching plans for students which in different levels. The fourth part is related work of this paper, including the source of language information and innovation.The first chapter is teaching analysis of “li” and “wai”, including students analysis and materials analysis.Student analysis consists of two parts: students’ grasp situation and learning needs of “li”and “wai”. Textbooks usage analysis includes frequency of occurrence of “li” and“wai”, Characteristics of “li” and “wai” in the textbook.Through the study, we found these problems: the knowledge of “li” and “wai” are scattered, knowledge of “li” and “wai”appears lowly, lacking of explanation of knowledge points and related exercises.The second chapter analyzes the problems in the teaching process of “li” and “wai”.Paper studies errors.The wrong using type includes misuse, omission use and surplus.Through analysis,errors mainly due to mother tongue transfer negatively, the target language transfer negatively,textbook shortages and inadequate teaching.The third chapter is teaching countermeasures of “li”and “wai”.According to the contents of second chapter, paper proposes the following countermeasures:hierarchical teaching, setting examples and exercises,noting key knowledge and difficulties knowledge,using intuitive teaching methods.The fourth chapter is instructional design.Instructional design includes three aspects:making teaching objective and explaining the reasons,making emphasis and difficulty,instructional design.
