Biology is not only a subject that Junior and Senior students, understanding about natural Phenomena,but also the one that cultivates students, comprehensive qualities towards science.But because of the different requirements and aims of the two different stages,the connection of Junior and Senior high school teaching has resulted in many problems.As the new curriculum reform,s passing and the furthen improvement of the curriculum,s systerm structure, Biology is getting more and more important in the curriculum arrangements.Therefore,connection concerns all.Meanwhile,because the education standard in Gannan Prefecture falls behind that of the other places,Thus the study of the connection between Junior and Senior Biology is of great importance in this region.In view of the current teaching situation in this region,we have made the research concerning this theme.According to the practical teaching situation in the region,we have carried on the research of this topic,this research,which has been made through the individual interview method,questionnaire investigation,literature research methods,has also carried on the investigation and analysis aboutbiology teaching situation of teachers and students of biology learning situation in Xiahe County,Gannan Prefecture.Besides,this research has found out the problems existing in the high school biology teaching cohesion and the reasons for the problems of Gannan Prefecture.On the basis of theoretical research,combining with the actual situation of Gannan,We have put forward some strategies to solve Gannan Prefecture,s high school biology teaching.1.Improve teachers, teaching and students, studying methods.2.Biological textbook should pay more attention to the Junior and Senior high school teaching connection,and teaching materials, using should pay attention to the teaching of Junior and Senior high school connection,pay attention to the increase and decrease of teaching contents.3.Strengthen the experiments and practice teaching contents.4.Strengthen the construction of teaching staff,improve the biology teachers,professional accomplishments.By studying we have got the following conclusions:1.Gannan Prefecture has paid less attention to high school biology teaching problem.2.High school biology teaching materials arenot enough. 3.The arrangements of Junior and Senior high school,s Biology curriculum have a negative impact on the Biology class cohesion of Junior and Senior high school.4.Strengthening the construction of teaching staff and improving biology teachers, biological scienceliteracy are the premise of high school biology teaching cohesion. 5.Improving the biological teaching materials,cultivating students, good learning habits and learning methods are the basis of improving high school biology teaching cohesion.
