Research On The Training And Development Of Middle School Pipe Band In Zibo City

In the trend of developing quality education, school concert band, as one kind of school music education activity, has a special effect on the development of students’ comprehensive qualities. And it also meets the development requirement of new curriculum. But the middle school band training in Zibo center is still in the initial stage. There are many problems to be solved. So how to solve these practical problems plays a very important role in guiding the development of the school band.Under the guidance of the new curriculum standards, three methods of investigation are used in this paper. They are questionnaire method, interview method and observation method. By interviewing the music teachers in 7 middle schools of Zibo City and 8 middle schools of Zhangdian District, I know that there are only 3 middle schools in total carrying out the teaching of band. According to my survey, the school bands of Zibo City have the problems both in survival and development. So I carry out my research on the two aspects. First, I started my research from interviewing and surveying the band training situation of the 3 middle schools. Then I did a research on how to transform the views on the school band of the schools, the class teachers, parents and students as well as on the students’ participation in the management of the school band. Next I stated my research on how to solve the contradiction between short length of studying time during middle school and the long time needed in training excellent instrument players; how to reduce the loss of players; how to let the band cycle well; how to enhance the quality of the development of the school band and proposed some corresponding development suggestions.This paper includes four parts.
