Compulsory education Chinese course standard is a product of elementary education curriculum reform, embody a concentrated reflection of the language education new idea, Chinese education is to guide the work and the implementation of Chinese language teaching one of the important guidance document. Same roots,mainland and Taiwan have the same cultural background, on the Chinese traditional culture is more coherent, on both sides of the compulsory education Chinese course standard has many similar or in common. However, because of the political system,economic system, the different cultural ideology, lead to many differences of the two also, present their ideas feature of Chinese curriculum. Therefore, this article selects the Chinese mainland’s current compulsory education Chinese curriculum standards(2011 edition) and Taiwan region of the national grade 1-9 curriculum guidelines for primary and secondary school language learning areas(the Chinese)’ language curriculum standard(program) system comparison, makes every effort to found from comparison can draw lessons from the experience and ideas.This paper use the research methods such as literature method, comparison method, mainly from the current compulsory education language lesson mark development evolution, the structure system, as well as text content in the curriculum idea, curriculum goals in four aspects, to a detailed comparative study of both. On both sides of the Chinese curriculum standards not only have many similarities, there are a lot of differences. In terms of history, on both sides of the reform of the name is different; The instrumental status change different language discipline. In terms of structure, curriculum content is different; Objective the division of different;Implement Suggestions in fine a different name. On curriculum idea, to the cultivation of students’ Chinese accomplishment and ability to focus on both sides of the Taiwan straits, accumulating and using ability, personality development and social needs are different in such aspects as. On the course target, from writing and writing, reading, writing and oral communication in four aspects, such as comparison,and analysis of the main characteristics of cross-strait course objectives and thesimilarities and differences between them.Finally, in the Chinese curriculum standard presents different characteristics and their similarities and differences on the basis of evaluation and analysis of the two innovation and deficiency.
