As a basic subject,Chinese is very important.The instrumental feature of Chinese makes it a tool for acquiring new knowledge;At the same time,the humanity of Chinese makes students shape their healthy personalities and form the correct outlook on life;Language is also an integral part of culture and an important carrier of culture;The language includes the essence of Chinese traditional culture and it embodies the national culture of our country;Finally,Chinese is also an appreciation of beauty,cultivating students’ noble aesthetic sentiment in a beautiful environment,improving students’ mind,and giving full play to their imagination and creativity.However,we don’t have the innate ability of the language,we need systematically study so that the students’ language can be improved.As a guiding document for Chinese language learning,it is necessary for us to study Chinese curriculum standards.Chinese mainland and Taiwan area are the two most worthy comparable entities.They are homologous and have the same cultural heritage.Not only the traditional Chinese culture but also the Full-time Compulsory Education Curriculum Standard,there are many similarities between the two sides.However,due to the differences in ideology and other aspects of political and economic system,there are many differences between the two sides.They have their own characteristics.Therefore,this article systematic compares the Chinese curriculum standard of 2011 version between mainland and Taiwan,making every effort to find available thought and experience from Taiwan in standard in order to improve the mainland Chinese curriculum standard and provide reasonable suggestions for the redevelopment of the standard of compulsory language courses in the near future.This paper use the research methods such as literature method,comparison method,mainly a detailedly compares different aspects,such as the background of the standard,curriculum concept,program objective,structure system,implementation suggestion and so on.There are many similarities and differences between the two documents.As the education,culture and environment are the all social factors influencing the made of curriculum standards.In terms of the basic concept of curriculum,the mainland attaches great effort to cultivate students’ comprehensive quality,while Taiwan focuses on the formation students’ ablity.In terms of the frame.of curriculum,they roughly the same,but Taiwan outline increased segmented ability goal and the relationship of the ten basic ability,to strengthen the combination of language ablity and the real life.In terms of overall objective of the course,the Chinese mainland adopts the overall design method of the three-dimensional goals,which enalble students to make great progress in knowledge,emotiona and behavior,etc.Taiwan directly emphasizes the connection between Chinese ability and life through the transformation of ten basic abilities.In terms of segmental ability targets,China attaches great importance to the basic role of literacy and handwriting,while Taiwan has highlighted the role of listening.Implementation advice,on both sides of the evaluation and textbook writing,teaching,mutual interest from Chinese mainland but also provide reference for development and utilization of curriculum resources for teachers’ opinions,more comprehensive guide teacher’s teaching.Finally,some suggestions are made to the Chinese curriculum standard of the mainland compulsory education,based on the differences between the Chinese mainland and Taiwan curriculum outline.
