Since the reform and open policy was carried out, the senior politics lessons has experienced thirty years’ reform and development, and the achievements are excellent.All of them has made tremendous contributions to improving the citizens’ qualities and cultivating well-rounded talents.The process of reform includes two important key factors that were tradition and innovation, and this paper illustrates these matters from a few points of view. Firstly, it illustrates the senior politics lessons’ nature, position and assignments, and we can find out that the reform was essential and meaningful. The next, it reviews the process of the senior politics lessons’ reform from 1978 to the present and analysis the main features of the reform in five aspects which combined with the spirit of the related documents. At last, we can discover the reform’ defect and insufficient through above discussion, I will make brief analysis for the future reform and take my points about it.In this paper, I will go over the process of senior politics courses’ reformation, and generalization the experience and deficiencies to improve the actual effect of it. All of them just in order to provide basis for senior politics discipline construction and provide assistances for senior politics’ development.
