Today, the social atmosphere is becoming more and more intense, the scientific literacy has become a key factor that influences our country’s development. Compare with the developed country, our teenagers even the whole citizens’ society literacy is becoming lower and lower, the situation has a strong impact on our comprehensive competitive powers in the whole world. About this problem, this paper will set the foot on the advantages of how the middle school physics will develop student’s scientific sense, and how to adopt the effective teaching methods to cultivate and improve teenagers’ scientific literacy. This paper would divide into five parts to talk about this topic.The first part is the introduction, why choosing this topic as the theme of the paper. For the scientific literacy and in order to foster them, search and settle documents throughout the world, analyze history and current situation of physic teaching develop scientific literacy. On the basis of this, I will discuss the aim and meaning of this paper, and also the research idea, method and the main content.The second part is the correlation theory study of scientific literacy. I will analyze and expound the connotation, structure, feature and of scientific literacy as well as the meaning of developing scientific literacy.The third part mainly talks about middle school physics’ advantages in developing students’ scientific literacy. Three small parts will be involved, middle school physics knowledge, middle school physics learning process and physics teaching process in the new curriculum concept. Through these, the paper shows the specific advantages of middle school physics teaching towards students in the scientific literacy part.The fourth part studies teaching strategy of middle school physics teaching in cultivate students’ scientific literacy. Combining with the specific advantages of scientific literacy correlation theory, middle school physic teaching in developing students’ scientific literacy, there are five specific operability teaching strategies in cultivating students’ scientific literacy.The first teaching strategy:pay attention to middle school physic experiment teaching. Middle school experiment is an important way to improve students’ scientific sense. From the perspective of improving physics demonstrative experiment, separating groups of students to do test, along with extracurricular experimental activity.The second teaching strategy:infiltrating physics knowledge during teaching process. The history of physics implies a very rich scientific knowledge, learning methods as well as some science humanistic spirits. These will have positive impacts in growing students’ scientific literacy. This paragraph would focus on two aspects of how to effectively infiltrate physics history in boosting scientific sense, one is strengthening teachers’ physics history knowledge, and the other is innovating physic history.The third teaching strategy:enhancing middle school physic scientific research activity. Because scientific research is the utmost important element in forming their scientific literacy. Through rasping the key of physic scientific research, and improving the effectiveness of physic scientific research to achieve the goal of training students’ comprehensive scientific literacy.The forth teaching strategy:To reform middle school physics exercise teaching. Let the exercise teaching being the part of active learning process, as well as making our daily life walk into physics exercises. Cultivating and improving their scientific literacy in the process of doing middle school exercise.The fifth teaching strategy:Setting physics scientific activities, and seizing the aim of doing this activity. Through the effective inside and outside of the class physical activity of science, promoting the formation of students’ scientific literacy.Last part is the conclusion, summarized the results and main innovation points of the study briefly. Finally, points out the limitations and future research expectation in this study.
