The famous teacher has a certain reputation, recognition and influence, their upbringing experience can have a very good reference for other teachers. This paper mainly plays close attention to the famous history teachers’growing up through interview, case study, literature research and analyzes the concept, characteristics, affecting factors and nurturing way of the famous history teachers,take the famous history teacher Xucicheng in Shaanxi as an example. The article is divided into three parts:The first part is introduction. This section introduces the reason, significance and research status of this topic and the subject-related topics, problems and research methods and ideas.The second part of the body consists of four chapters.The first chapter briefly discusses the concept of the famous history teachers and common features above the universal teachers.The famous history teachers should have the characteristics of its own.The second chapter, mainly gives a case study of the growth process of Mr.Xu who is a famous history teacher in Shaanxi Province.The author analyzes the affecting factors of Mr.Xu from voluntary and growth, conscious and growth, confidence and growth and personal and growth.The author focuses on conscious and growth from reading, classroom, thinking, writing, walking, communication and personality and growth from personality traits, teaching ideas, teaching style, philosophy of education.After the case study, the third chapter explores the external and internal factors from two aspects. The main factors affecting the growth of Mr.Xu include:personal effort, emotion, experience and knowledge. The external factors include reform requirements, student factors, external theory, socio-cultural and institution.The fourth chapter gives a further explory of how to be a famous history teacher basing on the analysis of Mr.Xu. There are five main ways:theoretical knowledge learning, self-reflection and insight, practice makes perfect, peer support, improving the professional quality. Strengthening professional knowledge and riching educational philosophy, establishing and improving the knowledge of teaching is very essential, which laid the foundation for the famous teachers’ growth, reflection in reading, classroom teaching and reflection from a combination of personal experience and theory is the key of growth. The results should reflect on practice, practice is the only way of bring real teaching wisdom.
