| During the course of new reforms in the curriculum, teacher growth turns to be the most hot topic. Schools of different kinds and levels all try to explore ways of it. From my point of view, Suhomlinski, an educator from Russia has many original views, which are worth for us to be used for reference. This thesis approaches his views from the following aspects: 1. Define teacher growth. It is more than just to train young teachers in accordance with their teaching abilities. It covers the teachers'whole life. 2. Reveal the critical facotr of Suhomlinski's success by introducing his life and achievements. So as to set an example to the teachers.3. Set forth Suhomlinski's aim—To be an example as one who can well enrich his spirital life from knowledge attainments, ability attainments and affection attainments, which teachers must have.4. Set forth Suhomlinski's methods of teacher growth from five aspects: (1) Protect teachers'heart and nerve.(2) To understand children by heart. (3) Read whenever you can. (4) Write teaching diary. (5) Do creative research. 5. Provide the enlightenment of Suhomlinski's view of teachers growth from the normal universities'way to train teachers and to operate school. |
