In all countries and regions to promote the internationalization of science and technology, democratization, pluralistic vision of the era background, the reform of basic education in the world to carry out extensive and rapid. Curriculum reform as the core of education reform deserves further attention and discussion.In 2003 the Ministry of Education issued a formal "high school physical education and health curriculum standards," then, the authorities in Taiwan, China Education promulgated the "ordinary high school syllabus" in 2008. Mainland China and the economic, political, cultural, educational and other Taiwan there is a clear difference between the two sides of the same sports program significantly different. Mainland China and Taiwan on Sports and Health Course comparative study, for us to correctly recognize and understand the difference between the two sides of sports and health curriculum, and the reason for the difference formation, study and draw on the useful experience is necessary.On the one hand, the mainland and Taiwan belong to both sides, although formally, but history is homologous with the text, as well as the influence of five thousand years of Chinese culture, still has similarities fundamentally. But studies and comparative literature on both sides of the high school sports curriculum less, of course, many Western countries have merit in the education curriculum, but comparative education point of view, "it said, with the history of National Geographic, the mainland and Taiwan is linked more to close, more comparative reference. Implications for research come to the following:1, understand the meaning of physical education and health curriculum, and implementing the "health first" core basic idea, made clear that the goal of physical education in high school should be placed on the development of personal movement habits and develop regular exercise of expertise, in order to lay graduation continue to engage in the foundation of the sport.2, teaching content and teaching should be based primarily on the preparation of school characteristics, students’ interest in physical and mental conditions for the development and physical fitness and basic athletic ability, desalination and compulsory elective ratio, refining clear course objectives categories, sub-index and all indicators the implications.3, change the past for sport itself blindly operational research, to promote the integration of the student movement and life by building core competencies, and strive to promote the physical and mental health of students in physical education, secondary education and basic purpose of echoes, taking the course put elastic autonomy to schools themselves.4, learning evaluation and assessment aspects of curriculum change unity evaluations of past, attention to diversity, rich evaluation tools and methods for evaluation. Course assessment should be objective, effective, method to start, both individual differences and external factors, for teachers.
