Learning transfer can be divided into three categories:content transfer, program transfer and rule transfer. The main study objects are the learning transfer levels of 7 students in No.1 Middle School of Gongshan County. Initially, the rating system of the indicator of leaning transfer is created, according to which the scores of each examination can be worked out to study the variation in the data. Meanwhile, the author uses qualitative analysis basing on the information attained from one year’s teaching there to make up for the insufficiency of the quantitative research. The dissertation finds that students’ scores of learning transfer fluctuate individually but are stable as a whole. The score of content transfer is higher than that of program transfer and rule transfer. Students differ in their scores but it is obvious that they are relatively weak in rule transfer.Overall, this dissertation explores how the ability of English learning transfer of students from different ethnics changes to find out the appropriate approaches to improve their academic achievements. |
