At present, our country is in the period of social transition,people’s demand for social services become higher and higher. Our society needs a new type of management mode.To innovate the social management system needs the development of social work, and promote the community governance.So this will need a lar ge number of professional social workers.But at presen t,there are only 400000 professional social workers in our country. This number is far to meet the needs of the social development in our country.At the sam e time, the high losing rate of scarce social workers is thought-provoking.In this paper, investigating research of the social workers involves the east area,the central area and the west area. C ombining the research method of qualitative and quantitative.The results of the questionnaire statistical analysis found that respondents showed a trend of getting younger over the age structure, and more than half of them are both only children and unm arried youth. T he gender imbalanced in wom en than men.They are generally in high cultural level, but their income level is low overall. In addition, the survey also found that respondents average work ing age is short, and the specialized level is low.The overall characteristics of the respondents becom e the basic factors that affect social workers to loss.According to describing the basic characteristics on the basis of social workers, the paper describes the status and characteristics of social workers’ draining in our country, from social work gradu ates, on-the-job social workers in two stages, and the eas tern region, the two Midwest region in two areas.The professional social workers of our country intends to be th e high losing rate in w hole. Then,according to the survey of research,the paper analysis the reasons of social workers’ draining from individual factors, social facto rs and system factors. Study concluded that the cause of social workers to lose from a social worker individual perspective mainly includes: low salary, marriage, back to hometown, low degree of self value realization, and the prom otion space is limited. Also, studies have shown that personal factors are th e main reasons resulting in the loss of social workers.From the perspective of the social environment of social work development mainly includes: social demand is low, the society were lo w, the acceptance is low. On the whole, our country society does not form a common sense of social work, restricting the development of social workers only. From the institutional factors mainly includes: national policy im plementation does not reach the designate d position, social work appraisal system is unreasonable, lack of incentive mechanism of social workers and social workers access to exit mechanism is not reasonable.In the last part,based on the analysis of the present situation and losing reasons of professional social workers,paper advice to prevent the loss of social workers form four parts. The f irst one is the optim ization of social work developm ent in the so cial environment. Through innovation of social management, the developm ent of social work; The idea of promoting social work, im prove the social perception. The second one is improve the system of social work po licy. By relevant laws and regulations of social work, social work institution s reform and social work appraisal system, strict social workers access to exit mechanism to protect the interests of social workers. The third one is to to strengthen social work training mechanism. By stimulating social work students interest in learning, increase the chance of on-the-job training of social workers, help on-the-job social worker to build career planning to improve social workers to the industry’s psychological sense of belonging. Th e fourth one is prom ote social worker salary. Through security at all levels of government financial input to the social workers, establish long-term wage growth m echanism, expand social work prom otion space to enhance the level of social workers to treatment and to prevent the brain drain.
